PREMIUM car dealer, ZIMOCO, officially launched the distribution of the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee, in Harare last week as it maintains a stranglehold on the dominant supply of top-range vehicles in the country.
The all-new 2022 Grand Cherokee has been described as the most mechanically advanced Jeep SUV, with new architecture, a new exterior, and exquisite interior design.
It possesses the trademark off-road capability accompanied by three 4×4 systems, which include the Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II as well as rear electronic limited slip-differential (eLSD), which enable the vehicle to drive over rough terrain and road conditions better and where a conventional axle cannot.
All three systems are equipped with an active transfer case to improve traction by moving rotating force to work with the wheel with the most grip which allows for improved traction over rocks and rough terrain.
The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee has more than 110 advanced safety and security features, including Active Driving Assist with hands-on automated driving, and 360-degree surround view, and night vision cameras.
It was designed with enhanced levels of comfort and spaciousness, including in the cargo hold.
Speaking at the launch event Zimoco business development manager Manfred Chaniwa said the car delivered unmatched capability and composed driving dynamics.
He said the latest version had been designed and engineered to deliver even more of what has made this Jeep SUV a true global icon in the premium SUV segment.
“This fifth-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee builds on its legacy as the most awarded SUV ever, bringing an all-new architecture, all-new exterior design, and an all-new interior with world-class craftsmanship and first-to-market technologies to the global full-size SUV segment.
