Benjani Mwaruwari has flown to Germany to see specialist doctors over his troublesome thigh injury. The Manchester City and Zimbabwe striker pulled a thigh muscle in a league match at West Brom on December 21. He was kept out of City’s first 12 games on the season by the same injury.
Benjani, scorer of 15 league goals last year, told New Zimbabwe.com from Germany on Wednesday that he would be out of action for at least one-and-half months. He said: “I have had deep injections on the thigh, 15 on Monday, 15 on Tuesday and another 15 injections today. I now wish I had seen these guys when the injury first started because I feel quite confident that they are up to the job.” The 31-year-old striker will return to England on Saturday to begin his rehabilitation. He doesn’t expect to kick a ball until March. Benjani also cooled recent media speculation of an emotional return to Portsmouth where he is idolised. “No approach has been made as far as I know and right now all I am focused on is getting myself fit and doing my best for Manchester City,” said the Zimbabwe national team captain. Benjani has scored once in the league and twice in the UEFA Cup since November 3 when he first recovered from the injury that kept him out of the City team at the start of the season.

When I’m asked to select any sort of all-star team,http://www.ugg-outlet-store.com I prefer 22 players who can actually line up and play a game at their positions of choice.
So I always pick weak- and strong-side ends, weak- and strong-side outside linebackers and free and strong safeties on defense. http://www.uggsoutletstores.net I also pick a right and left offensive tackle on offense plus a halfback and a fullback.
